2020: Entered the Energy Storage Industry, Enhancing Energy Resilience

Billion Group fully entered the energy storage industry by establishing production lines for integrated solar-storage-charging products and investing in battery assembly plants, strengthening local manufacturing and system integration capabilities.

The Group has independently developed a comprehensive energy storage product line, covering residential, small commercial, commercial, industrial, and grid-scale applications to meet both distributed and centralized energy demands.

2025: Integrating Solar, Storage, and Charging Technologies to Build a Net-Zero Energy Ecosystem

In response to the global energy transition, Billion Group strengthened its integration across solar energy, energy storage, and vehicle electrification by establishing Billion EVC Energy in 2025.

Billion EVC specializes in delivering one-stop smart energy solutions, expanding into behind-the-meter and commercial and industrial markets.

This move further deepens the Group’s solar-storage-charging integration and accelerates the construction of a net-zero energy ecosystem, setting a new milestone in sustainable development.

  • The energy storage sites in Toucheng, Yilan (2.1MW), Longde (2.1MW), and Lize (2.5MW), operated by Billion Electric, successfully passed the on-site testing and verification of the IEC/CNS 62933-5-2 technical specification.
  • Verification Passed: Longde site (Jan) and Toucheng site (Aug) have successfully passed the Taiwan Power Company's AFC (Automatic Frequency Control) dynamic frequency modulation backup assistance service communication and execution capability test.

  • Two subsidiary companies were established: "Billion Watts Technologies Co., Ltd." and "Billion Sunpower Co., Ltd." Billion Watts Technologies focuses on the research, development, and sales of string-level and module-level solar power monitoring systems. On the other hand, Billion Sunpower is dedicated to the construction and operation of solar power plants domestically and internationally.
  • Launch of LTE wireless dual-band outdoor hotspot router, which has received certification from the Telecom Provider Sprint.
