Billion's Home Networking product series is designed to enable home and SOHO users to take advantage of their existing coaxial cables, phone line networks, or in-home power lines for use in multi-media broadband applications.

With the HomePNA 3.0 technology, BiPAC 2080H series supports up to 128 Mbps high-speed transmission rates for IPTV and Triple Play services via the existing coaxial cable and phone line network in your home. In addition, Billion has developed Power Line Communication (PLC) networking products. Compliant with the latest HomePlug AV standard, the Billion devices support data speeds of up to 200Mbps delivering the super-fast connectivity needed for High Definition home networks. This new range can be used to bridge Ethernet devices such as modems, routers, PCs, set-top-boxes, and game consoles, enabling users to share bandwidth-consuming applications such as online games, IPTV and video-on-demand with family or friends all around the house through existing power lines. If no Ethernet device is being used, the adapter will automatically go into Standby mode, which cuts power consumption by at least 60% increasing energy efficiency. Additionally, the BiPAC 2073N has an extra built-in 802.11n Access Point, enabling users to enjoy mobility and extend wireless coverage through in-home power lines.

The BiPAC 2072/2074 features a built-in electrical power outlet with noise filter - AC Pass Through. This handy add-on offers users an additional power extension for other electrical devices with limited wall outlets. With noise filtering, the BiPAC 2072/2074 eliminates noise interference generated from those electrical appliances and enhance the quality of data transfer.
